a. Note:   The sponsors at the baptism of Frederick Uhler were Jb. Willauer and Sus. Breidinger. Frederick was a farmer in Plainfield Twp. most of his life.
  On 19 May 1887 Frederick wrote his will. He left the homestead farm in Plainfield Twp. to his son, Oliver Uhler; the "Stofflet farm" in Forks Twp. to his son, Amos Uhler; and the "Seipel farm" in Forks Twp. to his son, Reuben Uhler. Oliver, Amos and Reuben were each directed to pay sums of money to Frederick's other children; Tobias, Jacob and Jamima, and to pay annual amounts to his widow, Elizabeth. He appointed sons Reuben and Oliver the executors of his estate. His will was proved 5 June 1888. (Estate file #11788, will book 11, pg. 166, Northampton County Government Center, Easton, PA)
