a. Note:   The sponsors at Philip Datesman's baptism were his parents. Philip wrote his will on 27 September 1912. He bequeathed $40 to the Riverview Cemetery Assn. in trust with the stipulation that, if not all of the trust was needed for his plot, the balance should be used for care of the plot of his sister Ogenbauch. He bequeathed a house and lot on Division St. in Portland to his son, Rozelle Datesman; $1000 to his daughter Katie married to Ward Chamberlain; $500 to his daughter Allie married to Edward Shoemaker; and $150 to the children of his deceased daughter Lucy. The remainder of his estate was bequeathed to the same children. He appointed his son, Rozelle, the executor. His will was proved 8 February 1918.
