a. Note:   The sponsors at Andreas' baptism were Henry and Catharina Wint. In 1812 Andreas was listed as a "single freeman" on the tax list in Upper Saucon.
  In 1850 Andreas Wint, age 60, a farmer, was living in Upper Saucon Twp., Lehigh Co., PA, with his wife, Lydia, age 53, and two children:
 - Lucinda Wint age 15 - William Wint age 11 Andreas owned real estate valued at $8,000. Also listed in their household were their daughter Mary (Wint) Ritter, age 30, and Mary's daughter, Amanda E. Ritter, age 8, Solomon Ihrig, age 23, a laborer, and Nathaniel Wiegner, age 26, a tanner. (1850 census, microfilm roll 792, pg. 217A, house #384)
  In 1860 Andrew M. Wint (listed as Wind), age 71, was living in Upper Saucon Twp., Lehigh Co., PA, with his wife, Lydia Wint, age 63. Both were born in PA. Their married son, Abner Horlacher Wint (listed as A. H. Wind) and his wife and family were listed in the same house. (1860 census, microfilm roll M653_1131, Page 803, house #546, family #593)
  Andreas died intestate. On 5 April 1862, his heirs sold Andreas' land, which had been left to him by his father, Johann Philip Wint, to Reuben B. and Lucinda Sell and provided a dowry for Andreas' widow, Lydia. (Lehigh Co. orphans court file #15412, Lehigh County Courthouse, Allentown, PA)
