  In 1870 John Kleppinger, age 64 a retired farmer, was living with his wife, Anna Kleppinger age 60, in Allen Twp., Northampton Co., PA. He owned real estate valued at $30,000 and had personal property of $2,900. Also living in his household was his unmarried sister, Lydia Kleppinger, age 67.   In 1880 John Kleppinger's widow, Anna Kleppinger age 70, was living in Allen Twp., Northampton Co., PA, in the household of their married daughter, Belinda (Kleppinger) Fenicle age 30, and her husband, Francis Fenicle age 34 a farmer, and their two children; Sarah Fenicle age 10, and Elvin Fenicle age 4.
