  In 1850 Catharine (Kleppinger) Laubach, age 41, was living in Allen Twp., Northampton Co., PA, with her husband, John Laubach, age 44 a distiller, and eight Laubach children; David age 16, Stephen age 14, John Adam age 11, George A. age 9, Maria age 12, Tilghman H. age 5, Frank age 3, and Alexander age 1.   In the 1870 census Catharine (Kleppinger) Laubach, age 63, was still living in Allen Twp., Northampton Co., PA, with her husband, John Laubach, age 65, listed as a retired flour merchant. John owned real estate valued at $65,000 and personal property of $15,000. Also listed in their household was a young boy, Cyrus Zellner, age 14.
