Note: After Elizabeth died, John Person remarried an Amelia ?. In 1870 John Person, age 59 a farmer, was living in East Allen Twp., Northampton Co., PA, with his second wife, Amelia Person age 48, and five Person children; Ellen C. age 14, Amanda E. age 13, Alvin age 10, Emma S. age 7, and Mary A. age 4. In 1880 John Person, age 67 a farmer, was still living in East Allen Twp. Listed in his household were his wife, Emelia Person age 56, two daughters; Emma Person age 17, and Mary C.
