a. Note:   ory age 63, in Upper Saucon Twp., Lehigh Co., PA. His sons, "Godhard" Mory age 37 and William Mory age 30, were listed in the same household and were also listed as farmers. Also still living at home were twins Joseph Mory age 25 and Daniel Mory age 25, who were both carpenters, and son Benjamin Mory age 24, who was a laborer. Also living in Wilhelm's household were Elisa Schneider age 31, who later became the wife of son, Gotthardt Mory, and Wilhelm's granddaughter, Levina Schneider age 17, daughter of Samuel and Esther (Mory) Schneider.   Wilhelm's death was reported in the 11 June 1856 editions of the German language newspapers, "Der Friedens Bote" and "Unabhaengiger Republikaner", of Allentown, PA. He died at the age of 76 years and 28 days. Rev. Zeller officiated at his funeral.
  Wilhelm died intestate. His wife, Maria Barbara, signed a waiver (quit claim) to turn over administration of Wilhelm's estate to sons, Gotthardt, William, and Amos Mory. They filed a bond of administration 14 June 1856. Wilhelm's estate was inventoried 20 June 1856 and his personal property was sold at vendue (auction).
