a. Note:   The sponsors at Maria Barbara's baptism were Wilhelm Mory (Moori) and Maria B. The obituary of Maria Barbara Mory of Upper Saucon appeared in the 24 December 1862 edition of the german language newspaper "Unabhaengiger Republikaner", the 7 January 1863 edition of "Der Friedens Bote", and the 14 January 1863 edition of "Allentown Democrat", all of Allentown, PA. She died at the age of 75 years, 6 months and 8 days. Her funeral services were conducted by Rev. Jager.
  Maria Barbara (Wint) Mory is buried in the old churchyard cemetery at Friedens Church next to her husband. The date of birth on her tombstone is 8 March 1787 but the church record of her baptism shows a birth date of 8 May 1787.
  Maria Barbara died intestate. The administrator of her estate was her son, Gotthardt Mory, who, along with Henry B. Person and Reuben Opp, filed a bond of administration 23 December 1862. Maria's estate was appraised 8 January 1863. The inventory showed outstanding notes (debts) owed by Benjamin Mory, Amos W. Mory, Esther and Samuel W. Snyder, and Joseph W. Mory.
