Note: alena. In 1850 Sarah (Mory) Kratzer, age 33, was living in Upper Saucon Twp., Lehigh Co., PA, with her husband, Joseph Kratzer, age 40 a tailor, and one son, Willoughby (most likely Ammon J.) Kratzer age 9 days. Their real estate was valued at $1,000. (1850 census, microfilm roll #792, Lehigh Co., PA, Upper Saucon Twp., pg. 193A, house #3) In 1870 Sarah (Mory) Kratzer, age 53, was still living in Upper Saucon Twp. with her husband, Joseph Kratzer, age 60 a farmer, and three Kratzer children; Amon J. (listed as Enos J.) age 20 a miner, Sarah age 18, and Mary A. age 12 They owned real estate valued at $5,000 and personal property of $960. (1870 census, microfilm roll #1363, Lehigh Co., PA, Upper Saucon Twp., pg. 615, house #70) Sarah died at the age of 59. Her funeral services were conducted by Rev. Robert C. Weaver. In 1880 Sarah's widowed husband, Joseph Kratzer age 70 a farmer, was still living in Upper Saucon Twp. with their three unmarried children; son Ammon Kratzer age 29 a carpenter, daughter Sarah Kratzer age 27, and daughter Mary Kratzer age 21.
