At the time of their marriage in 1855, Sarah was living in Upper Saucon and Ephraim in Allentown, PA. In 1870 Sarah (Mory) Grim, age 43, was living in Allentown, Lehigh Co., PA, with her husband, Ephraim Grim, age 51 a farmer, with their daughter, Mary Grim age 13 attending school. Also listed in their household was Sophia Huber, age 25, a servant. They owned real estate valued at $29,600 and personal property of $12,175. (1870 census, microfilm roll #1362, Lehigh Co., PA, Allentown, pg. 76, house #194) In 1880 Sarah (Mory) Grim, age 53, was living in the 3rd Ward in Allentown, Lehigh Co., PA, with her husband, Ephraim Grim age 60 a dry goods merchant. Also listed in their household were Sarah's unmarried brother, Andrew Mory age 63 a laborer, and Ida Trexler age 23 a servant.
