In 1880 Lucinda (Wint) Sell, age 46, was living in Coopersburg in Upper Saucon Twp., Lehigh Co., PA, with her husband, Reuben B. Sell, age 48, a farmer. Also listed in their household was Emma Kramer, age 13, a servant. (1880 census, National Archives Film T9-1146, Page 270B)
In 1900 Lucinda (Wint) Sell, b. Dec 1834, age 65, a widow, was living at 2406 - 17th St. in Philadelphia, Phila. Co., PA, in the household of her married son, Wilson W. Sell, b. Jun 1852, age 47, a salesman, and his wife, Sally J. Sell, b. Jan 1850, age 50, and their daughter:
- Alma F. Sell, b. Jan 1882, age 18 Wilson and Sally had been married for 22 years. Sally was the mother of 2 children, who were both living in 1900. Everyone in the household was born in PA. (1900 census, Philadelphia Ward 28, Philadelphia Co., PA, Page 13, house #299, family #313)
Lucinda is buried next to her husband in Woodland Cemetery. Three of their children are buried on the same plot. The inscriptions on the children's tombstones are no longer legible.
