Note: an language newspapers "Der Friedens Bote" and "Unabhaengiger Republikaner" of Allentown, PA. At the time of their marriage in 1851, Hannah was living in Upper Saucon and John Jones in Bethlehem Twp., Northampton Co., PA. They were married by Rev. Joshua Yeager. Their marriage was also announced in the Thursday 30 January 1851 editions of the "Democrat and Argus" and "The Eastonian" newspapers of Easton, PA.
Hannah and John Jones lived for a time in Freemansburg, PA, in Bethlehem Twp.
In 1870 Hannah (Mory) Jones, age 41, was living in the second ward in Bethlehem, Northampton Co., PA, with her husband, John Jones age 41 a retired farmer, and two children; Elemina Jones age 18 and Milton Jones age 6. They owned real estate valued at $25,000 and personal property of $4,000. (1870 census, microfilm roll #1381, Northampton Co., PA, Bethlehem, pg. 293, house #166)
Hannah died at the residence of her son-in-law, Dr. H. W. Sheets, in Bethlehem, and was buried in Nisky Hill Cemetery; Section C, lot #153. (Obituary extract from "Bethlehem Daily Times"; the obituary extract shows she died in 1886 but the date of death on her tombstone is 1884)
