  Morgan Mory, of Upper Saucon, was married to Malinda A. Wind, of Allentown, by Rev. Joshua Yeager. Their marriage was announced in the 15 May 1867 editions of the german language newspapers, "Der Friedens Bote" and "Unabhaengiger Republikaner" newspapers of Allentown, PA.
  In 1870 Morgan Mory, age 36, a retired farmer, was living in Upper Saucon Twp., Lehigh Co., PA, with his wife, Malinda Mory, age 22, and one child;
 - John (Peter) Mory, age 1 Also listed in their household were Emma Reinhard, age 18, a servant, and Sylvester Mory, age 20 (son of Joseph B. and Mary Ann Mory), a blacksmith. Morgan owned real estate valued at $38,000 and had personal property of $1000. Everyone in the household was born in PA. (1870 census, microfilm roll M593_1363, pg. 651A, house #618, family #681)
  In 1880 Morgan Mory (listed as Mohry), age 45, a farmer, was still living in Upper Saucon Twp., Lehigh Co., PA, with his wife, Malinda Mory, age 31, and children;

  In 1900 Morgan Mory, b. Oct 1836 in PA, age 63, a miller, was living at #1 Centre St. in Manasses, Prince William Co., VA, with his wife, Melinda Mory, b. Apr 1851 in PA, age 49, and one son:
 - George E. Mory, b. Aug 1888 in PA, age 11, at school Morgan and Melinda had been married for 32 years. Melinda was the mother of 3 children, of whom 2 were living in 1900. Everyone in the household was born in PA.

They were listed in the household of their daughter, Mary L. (Mory) Weaver, age 38, a widow, mistess of a boarding house, and three of her children:
 - son Paul L. Weaver, age 22, a clerk-electic light - daughter Marguerite F. Weaver, age 16, a saleslady in a 5 &10 cent store - son Charles A.   MORGAN MORY
 After ailing for the past year from hardening of the arteries and suffering several strokes recently, Morgan Mory died Saturday at his late home at Allentown, aged eighty years, six months and twenty-eight days. The deceased was born in Upper Saucon. He was engaged in the coal business, principally until eighteen years ago, when he moved to Manassas, Va., and there went into the lumber business. Five years ago he returned to Allentown and has since lived a retired life. Besides his wife, two children, George A. and Mrs. Mary Weaver, survive, both of Allentown. Also three grandchildren, Paul L., Marguerite and Charles Weaver.

 Morgan Mory, Former Manassas Lumber Dealer, Dies at Home in Pennsylvania.
  Morgan Mory, for many years a resident of Manassas, died last Saturday morning at his late home, No. 123 North Jefferson street, Allentown, Pa. He had been suffering the past year from hardening of the arteries which was followed by several strokes of paralysis, culminating in his death Saturday at the age of eighty years.
  He was born in Upper Saucon, Pa., October 25, 1833, and was the son of John and Lydia Mory. He was married on May 9, 1867, to Malinda Wind, the couple recently celebrating the 47th anniversary of their marriage.
  Mr. Mory came to Manassas eighteen years ago and entered the lumber business, building the resident on Centre street now occupied by Mr. J. B. Trimmer, and conducting his business on the adjacent corner. Five years ago he returned to Allentown, Pa., and has since lived a retired life.
  He leaves his wife, two children, Geo. A. Mory and Mrs. Mary Weaver, and three grandchildren, Paul L., Marguerite and Charles Weaver.
