Free banns were anno unced, published in the Lutheran church in Pultusk in 3/15, 9/21, 17/29 o f January, current year. Newly married stated that they did not conclud e a premarital contract. A record was read and signed by the first witn ess and me, the second witness and a bride's father are illiterate."
 
Note:   Marianna's marriage license shows his name to be Louis, but per Doroth y Emerick, it should be Ludwig. Perhaps Louis is the English version o f the name Ludwig? Per Dorothy Emerick, he was a judge
