Note: f Neish on his birth record. The use of the name Charles came from my Grandma (Elizabeth Peacock Johnson). The other names per Alfred's daughter in law (Joan Hamilton). The "Trouble with the law" was a very minor issue according to his brothers and sisters. He is listed as John G. Hamilton in the 1940 Detroit census. He is listed as George Hamilton in the 1930 census. They have no children at that time. He is listed as John Hamilton on his death certificate in Florida with an incorrect birth date.
Alfred G. Hardy (Turtle Creek) and Bertha W. Schaar (Pittsburgh) obtained a marriage license from the Allegheny County Courthouse in September 1924. Was it this Alfred? Is that the trouble he got into?
