 William J. Peacock, 89, of Level Green, died Wednesday, March 5, 2014. He was the beloved husband of Nadine (Pelletier) Peacock; loving father of William J. Peacock Jr., Thomas (Sharon) Peacock and the late Robert E. Peacock; and brother of Allison (Eugene) Sunder and the late John Peacock and Elizabeth Johnson. Also surviving are seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Bill was a machinist for U.S. Steel, Homestead Works, for more than 40 years. He was a World War II Navy veteran, and loved square dancing, gardening and hunting. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the JAMES E. LINDSAY FUNERAL HOME INC., 3343 Route 130, Harrison City, (724-744-2721), where services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday. Interment will follow in Penn Lincoln Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 1100 Liberty Ave., Suite E-201, Pittsburgh, PA 15222.http://www.jobefuneralhome.com.
