Her 2nd marriage lasted about a week according to Grandma. It was done to spite her first husband, James Theodore Smith Jr. per Grandma. Per research, they were married 1.5 years or so, but were not together that long. Grandma or Bob moved out.

Grandma died from Lung Cancer. She smoked from the time she was about 18. She once told me that her Doctor had told her to smoke to "calm her nerves". She loved to talk, and do puzzles. The flat board kind, word finders and any other kind of puzzle thing she found. She loved to play Bingo and "Play my numbers." She enjoyed learning about what I found out about the family. She pestered her cousins with questions for me, and went out of her way to help me with things. She also read Tarot cards with regular playing cards. I remember one time she read my cards and told me "An old woman loves you." She then blushed and grinned at me. She never wore her teeth. I believe they were stolen years before. She always just "gummed" her food! Some of her nicknames were "Betty", "Bingo Betty", "Sis", "Grandma Toddy" and "Mam", "Mammaw". She loved anything with a Peacock on it. She took it as her own personal symbol.
