Van Kirk, Da rlington, arrived in Beaver Falls Saturday Night, and began to hit the h igh places. When officer White saw him he was holding the reins tight a nd urging Dobbin to to the beat of the band. Dobbin obeyed. When the o fficer interfered, Alex resisted. Persuasion was necessary before he wa s landed in jail. Today Burgess Brown sent him to Beaver jail for a we ek and three days. **************************************************** ************* **** The Daily Times, Beaver, PA - Wednesday March 20, 19 12 - Elic Vankirk and family have moved into the country on his father' s farm. *************************************************************** ** **** New Castle News - March 14, 1900 has an article about criminal c harges against Richard and Alexander Van Kirk. Unfortunately for her, she was bu ried beside him. I think the family could not afford an additional gra vesite.
