  Now this is interesting - AYRES ZACAHARIAH NEWBOTTLE, NORTHAMPTONSHIRE SUMMER ASSIZES ZACHARIAH AYRES, CHARGED WITH HAVING, ON THE NIGHT OF THE 27TH APRIL, AT NEWBOTTLE, BROKEN AND ENTERED THE WAREHOUSE OF ANN RADBURN, AND STOLEN THEREFROM 150 PLATES, 29 DISHES, 24 MUGS, AND OTHER ARTICLES. From the Northampton Mercury, 1840.
  Zachariah was convicted, committed to the county gaol & later transported, initially being put on the hulk York, at Gosport.
