 1925 - 2004
 The death of Evelyn Black, age 79, wife of Arthur Black, of Cambridge NB, occurred at the Oromocto Public Hospital, on Tuesday, November 30, 2004. She was born in Central Cambridge February 6, 1925, the daughter of the late Fred & Bessie (Reece) Pugsley.. Evelyn was a Life Member of the WMS and WI, serving as President of both organizations. She taught Sunday School for 40 years and was the first woman Moderator of the Queens - Sunbury Baptist Association. She loved to cook and worked for a number of years at various restaurants. Evelyn is survived by sons; Gordon and Barbara Black, and Donald and Marlene Black, of Cambridge, grandchildren; Stuart, Gregory, Dianna and Margaret Ann and great grandson; Jordan, sister; Gwen Monahan, Hampton, brother; Hazen and Lillian Pugsley, Cambridge, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers; Walter and Clair Pugsley and sisters; Nellie Thorne, Edna McDonald, Doris Coleman, and Marion Thorne. She is resting at her home, 2429 Lower Cambridge Road, Cambridge-Narrows, NB, with visiting Thursday from 2 to 8 p.m. Funeral service will be held from 1st Cambridge Baptist Church, Friday, December 3, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery.
