a. Note:   The death of Mrs Alice L Rees occurred at her home, Central Cambridge, N.B., after a short illness at the age of 77. Born at Mill Cove, NB , daughter of the late Mrs and Mrs William B Ferris, she was a granddaughter of the Rev. Peter R. Knight, missionary, her mother being previous to marriage, Miss Elizabeth Knight. Her husband, Willard G P Rees, prececeased her three years ago. She was a woman of sterling character with a large circle of freinds and was a memeber of Lower Cambridge Baptist Church.
 Surving are four daughters, Mrs Fred Pugsley and Mrs Sidney Wilkins, Central Cambridge; Mrs Eslie Ferris, Mill Cove, and Miss Hazel M at home; one son, Marshall W., Cumberland Bay; three sisters, Mrs Hattie Leaman, Moncton; Mrs Olive E Ferris, Calgary, and Mrs Edmund Ferris, Vancouver; one brother, Burton A Ferris, Saint John; 24 grand children and four great grandchildren.
