Note: sonry trade here for a number of years. The rites were conducted by the Rev. Theodore Hoemann and interment was in Sunnyhill cemetery. Mrs. A. H. Tieperman, Mrs. Arthur Wedemeyer, Mrs. Lee Sparling and Mrs. Ed Sachau sang "Rock of Ages," "Farewell, I Say With Gladness" and "Jesus, Lover of My Soul." Pallbearers were Ernest Jipp, Elmer Lager, J.A. Driscoll, A. Franz, Charles Arp, and Frank Ward. James Oliver Gustin, son of P.C. and Susannah Gustin, was born September 25, 1879 in Audubon County, Iowa and on October 7, 1903 , was married to Tillie Zanders. This union was blessed with three children, one of whom, Mrs. Earl (Ocabelle) Plowman, survives. His wife (Tillie), died on February 19, 1922. In December, 1924, Mr. Gustin and Louise Ficken were united in marriage and one daughter, Luella, was born to this union. Mrs. Louise Gustin succumbed last July. Survivors are his two daughters; Mrs. Earl (Ocabelle) Plowman and Luella Gustin, age 9; Two grandchildren; four brothers; Henry and Vern Gustin of Guthrie Center, Iowa, Bert Gustin of Hobson, Montana, and Robert Gustin of Adair, Iowa; two sisters, Mrs. H.B. (Amanda) Moffitt and Mrs. Lee (Sadie) James, both of Adair. Reference: Unknown. ~~~~~~~~~
