a. Note:   John Huard, who passed away at the home of his sister, Mrs. Lewis Larock Thursday, December 8, was born in Charleston, April 10, 1867, and was the only son of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Huard. When a young man he learned the trade of moujder and worked 15 years in the Murkland foundry' at Barton, after that going to St. Johnsbury where he worked 21 years for the Fairbanks company.
 About a year ago he suffered a partial shock which affected his mind to such an extent that he has been unable to work and has been cared for in the home of Lewis Larock. About three weeks ago he had another sh6ck leaving him nearly helpless from which he never rallied. His wife, who was Delia Eno, died 19 years ago. Mr. Huard was a member of the Woodman and the Redmen. He- leaves to mourn his loss two sisters, Mrs. Joe Wright of Derby and Mrs. Lewis Larock of this place. The funeral was held at the Catholic church at Barton Saturday, December 10, and burial was in the Catholic cemetery there.
