  The following notes about this John DRENNAN family were written by a Michael DRENNAN, a descendant of John:
  "The John Drennan (b. 1834) family.
  John Drennan (b. August 3, 1834 d. July 21, 1904) wife Prospyna Sheldon (b. January 26, 1837 d. March 13,1924) they were married on December 25, 1861. John had brief schooling and was apprenticed to a shoemaker. In 1867 the family emigrated from Ontario to the USA and purchased a 46-acre farm near Yale, Lynn Township. St. Clair Co. MI. If Prospyna (Pinney) died in Flint, Genesee Co. MI then she was probably residing at her daughter´s home, Sophia Youngs.
  The children of John and Prospyna Drennan are:
 Sarah (Sadie) Jane Drennan Howse (b. September 13,1862 d. January 15, 1948)
 James Alexander Drennan (b. December 12, 1864 d. September 7, 1944) married Euretta Jane Holmes
