a. Note:   This Anna JACKSON was my great-great-great grandmother. She married John Godfrey LLOYD in 1821 in Gananoque, Ontario. They were the great-grandparents of Sarah Charlotte LLOYD, my paternal grandmother.
  As of today, December 31, 2013, I have virtually no detailed information about the ancestry, siblings or history of this Anna JACKSON. If you have any information about her, please contact me by email at saylesworth@shaw.ca
  Based on information I have reviewed, I wonder if she might be a sister of William JACKSON who married Patience KERRY. William is said to have arrived in Canada in about 1817, which would be just four years before Anna married John Godfrey LLOYD in 1821. William and his family settled in Gananoque, and years later one of the grandsons of William married one of the granddaughters of Anna: more specifically Elija Byron JACKSON married Julia LLOYD.
  I will continue my research on these matters during the months ahead, and amend these notes if I locate information that confirms or disproves this speculation.
