Notes
a. Note:   A note by email from Billee Wilson Hornbeek in March 2010 to Samuel William Aylesworth:
  "Was talking to Marjorie Wilson Phillips today. Marge is now 92. She is the youngest daughter of Wm Wilson and Clara Laing. She was born in ND and they moved to Oregon in the early 1930's.
 Now, here is the strange thing: William (Willie) was the youngest son of John & Jane. He was born in Winnipeg. To my knowledge they never lived there - so am wondering if Jane (Joliffe) Wilson had gone to stay with some of the Aylesworths. Do you have any family stories about this? Or, were your kin in Winnipeg when he was born in 1879? This one was a surprise to me, but Marge has his birth cert.

 ===========================
  Response from Sam Aylesworth to Billee Wilson Hornbeek in March 2010:
  "I have no family stories to share regarding a possible visit of John Wilson or Jane (Jolliffe) to Winnipeg ... as I have virtually no stories at all about that generation in my own family line on dad's side, the Aylesworth side.
  The 1861 Census indicates that
  Rosanna Wilson was living with the Aylesworth family in Dorchester, although not yet married to Ebenezer. Perhaps, as your suggested years ago, she was working with the family as a domestic.
  Rosanna and Ebenzer were married in 1870 in North Dorchester, Ontario.
  The 1871 Census indicates that Elen [Helen?] Wilson, Rosana's sister, was living with Ebenezer and Rosanna in (London?) Ontario.
  With their two sons, Perry and Arthur, Rosanna and Ebenezer came by railway to Brandon in 1883, settling near Alexander at Sec 10, Range 10, Township 21.
  They made their home in Brandon for two years while the father walked to the farm Monday morning and back on Saturday evening, farming and building a home for the family.
  All this suggests that my line were not living in Manitoba in 1879. However, perhaps some members of the Wilson family were and perhaps this is one of the reasons why Rosanna and Ebenezer did move from Ontario to Manitoba.
  Does this help?
  Cheers, Sam Aylesworth"
