a. Note:   Followiing is a brief note regarding Robert HILL, the first husband of Jane DRENNAN. These comments were provided in early April 2015 to Samuel Wm. Aylesworth by a descendant of Jane DRENNAN. I have chosen not to name the source, in order to protect their privacy.
  "Robert HILL was enticed to sign up as a substitute in the Civil War, leaving his pregnant wife and five children at home in Lynn Township, Michigan. Sadly, Robert died in Texas and never returned to Michigan. Jane remarried George Richardson, a widower. George and Jane combined their families and then had two of their own, Albert and Sylvester Richardson."
