  "Standard Resident Leaves 5 Daughters
  Mrs. Sigma Caroline Myrthu, aged 60, died at her residence in Standard this morning, after an illness of one month. She had resided in Standard for the past 26 years.
  Her husband, Jens, predeceased her in 1921. She is survived by five daughters -- Mrs. Cecil Parson, Golden, B.C.; Mrs. Alfred Peterson, Standard; Mrs. Willard McDowell, Delburne; Mrs. Cecil Devitt, Standard; a sister, Mrs. O. P. Larson, Standard; and three sisters in the United States.
  Services will be held Saturday afternoon, at 2 o'clock, in the United church at Standard. Rev. V. Beck will officiate and interment will be in the Standard cemetery."
