Notes
a. Note:   In 1938, the Rev. H. H. Ryland wrote in the Ryland Newsletter as follows about Elizabeth Lippincott:
"On May 10, 1817, he [William Riland/Ryland] was united in marriage with Elizabeth Lippincott, whose cousins were connected with the Lippincott Publishing company. Cooper and Conrad, owners of a large department store in Philadelphia years ago, were also her cousins."

The following note regarding William RYLAND and Elizabeth LIPPINCOTT was sent by a woman known only as Eileen to Samuel Wm AYLESWORTH in February 2010:
I am working on a northern Dauphin County (Pennsylvania) cemetery project to help people access them online in many repositories, which I have been working on for many years. I recently started a tree on my account to help me gather research to add to fill in more accurate information in the memorials I create on Find A Grave. Right now I am working on Powells Valley Zion Stone United Methodist Church Cemetery where William and Elizabeth are buried along with a few of their descendants. I would like to correspond with you about it. You can email me at grannylentz@yahoo.com so we can share things more easily.
  Thanks,
 Eileen
