a. Note:   I, Samuel William Aylesworth, who assembled this family tree/database, descend directly from Jemima Gary Washburn and her husband Robert Perry, through their daughter Hannah Perry who married Bowen Aylsworth.
  We have learned that through the Washburn line, this ancestry takes us back to the Mayflower. Jemima Washburn descended, through two different lines, from two Mayflower Pilgrims: Francis Cooke and his wife Hester Mehieu AND James Chilton and his wife Susanna Furner. The detail of these lines of descent are provided elsewhere in this family tree/database.
