a. Note:   This Nathanial LUCAS and his brother John LUCAS both married daughters of Bowen AYLSWORTH and his wife Hannah (nee PERRY):
 - Nathanial married Elisabeth AYLSWORTH
 - John married Mary Jemima AYLSWORTH
  Amongst their various children, both Nathanial and John had sons born in 1839 and both of these sons were named Bowen Aylsworth LUCAS. So we find two men in the extended-LUCAS family with the same name born in the same year.
  It seems that one of these two men named Bowen Aylsworth LUCAS had a son named Daniel LUCAS, who married a woman I know only as "Bessie". I am not certain which of the two men was the father of Daniel. I have tentatively listed Daniel as the grandson of Nathaniel LUCAS rather than of John LUCAS.
