 Joanna Sue Bollinger-Crothers, 83, Sun City, Ariz., and Kokomo, and formerly of Russiaville, passed away at 5:09 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 17, 2009, at Banner Boswell Medical Center in Sun City, Ariz. She was born March 3, 1926, in Huntington, to Hugh H. and Fern Louise (Denny) Brown. On Sept. 29, 1945, she married Dr. Glenn Robert Bollinger in Huntington. He died February 7, 1994. She then married Ralph Crothers on Nov. 22, 2008, who survives.
 She worked with her husband at his dentist practice as the office manager for more than 30 years. She graduated from Huntington High School and later attended Methodist Nurses School in Indianapolis.
 She was a member of Russiaville United Methodist Church and Grace United Methodist Church, Kokomo, and also attended Russiaville Friends Church. She was also an active member of Faith Presbyterian Church, Sun City, Ariz. She was a member of Thursday Study Club, Russiaville Tourist Club, Tri Kappa Sorority, a longtime member of the D.A.R. and the P.E.O. Cy charter member and past president. She was also a member of the Sun City RV Club. She was an avid reader, loved traveling, and enjoyed needlepoint.
 Survivors include her husband, Ralph Crothers, Sun City, Ariz.; children, Emily L. "Emmy" Bollinger and husband Richard Thompson, Lake Wales, Fla., Glenn Robert "Bob" Jr. and wife Janis Bollinger, Clarkson, Ky., Richard "Rick" and wife Beverly Bollinger, Russiaville, James R. "Reggie" and wife Tammy Bollinger, San Lorenzo, Calif.; step-daughter, Linda Crothers, Novato, Calif.; grandchildren, Tammy Jo and husband Patrick Riner; Maj. (P) Glenn Robert III and wife Jennifer Bollinger, David Andrew and wife Sarah Bollinger, Richard "Rich" and wife Alicia Bollinger, Amanda Bollinger, Sarah Bollinger, Rachel Bollinger, and Emma Bollinger; a granddaughter-in-law, Samantha Bair; great-grandchildren, Daniel Bair, Blake Bair, Emma Bollinger, Lauryn Bollinger, David A. Bollinger Jr., Shelby Bollinger, Reagan Bollinger, Alexis Bollinger, Ian Bollinger, and Grayson Bollinger; and one sister, Dorlas and husband Bern Glass, Frisco, Texas.
 She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dr. Glenn R. Bollinger; two grandsons, Todd M. Bair and Jon Thomas Bollinger; one granddaughter, Haily Rose Bollinger; and one great-grandson, Alexander Bollinger.
 Services are 10 a.m. Saturday at Russiaville United Methodist Church, 180 N. Union St., Russiaville.
 The Revs. Steve Fritchman and Steve Beutler will officiate. Burial will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens Cemetery.
 A memorial service will be held at a later date in Sun City, Ariz. Family and friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. Friday at Stout & Son Funeral Home, Russiaville Chapel, 200 E. Main St., Russiaville.
 Memorial contributions can be made to Russiaville United Methodist Church. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
