Robinson, Doris A. JANESVILLE--Doris A. Robinson, age 59, of 1123 Mayfair, (Scott's note: this is incorrect...this was the address of my father, died Sat., Feb. 25, 1989. She was born July 24, 1929 in Janesville, the daughter of Chester and Erma (Hardy) Starks. She married Robert A. Robinson Jan. 18, 1947 in Milton. She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, its Altar Society, Catholic Women's Club and had been active in the Cub Scouts.
Survivors include her husband, Robert of Janesville; 1 daughter, Mary (Roy) Morris of Janesvile; 2 sons, Roy (Lynne) of Poway, CA, and Scott of Janesville; 4 grandchildren: Vicky Davis of Milton, Christine McGuire of Janesville, Nike and Charlie Robinson of Poway, CA; 1 great-grandson, Robert Davis of Milton; 2 borhters, George (Elaine) Starks of Janesville and Clarence (Joan) Starks of Janesville; 3 sisters: Della Schmidt of Janesville, Alma (Gene) Anderson of Wrightwood, CA, and Eva (Philllip) Pernot of Janesville. She was predeceased by a son, Steven.
Funeral services will be Tues. at 10:00 a.m. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church with Fathers Jerold Fitzpatrick and Ken Frisch officiating. Burial will be in Mr. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will be Mon. from 7:00 until 9:00p.m. at the Whitcomb-Hansen Funeral Home, where a prayer service will be at 8:30p.m.

The death certificate and obituary of Doris states she died on the February 25th 11:30AM. This was actually the time that she was pronounced dead. Call it superstition, but for me she died on the night of the 24th. At approximately 10:30pm on February 24th, I became very ill for no reason. The feeling lasted about 10-15 minutes and subsided. I had an urge to call my mother but did not.
My dad found my mother on the bathroom floor on Saturday morning, February 25th when he came to check on her. He lived at 1123 Mayfair Dr. in Janesville and had furnace work to do that morning. He worked downstairs for about half an hour before coming up to find that she had passed away overnight.
Last Will and Testament of Doris A. Robinson (Scott's Note: This will was out of date when my mother had it made. After this time she had remarried my father. Also another grandchild had been born who is not named....Charles Robinson. This will could have been contested by someone but noone did.)
I, Doris A. Robinson, of Janesville, Wisconsin, declare this to be my Last Will and Testament, hereby revoking any and all former wills by me made.
I am a divorced woman and hence make no provision for any spouse. I have given birth to four children, namely, Mary Jane McGuire, Roy Arthur Robinson, Steven Leonard Robinson, and Scott Lee Robinson. Steven Leonard Robinson is deceased. I presently have three grandchildren, namely, Victoria McGuire, Christine McGuire, and Nicki Robinson.
Appointments
I nominate and appoint Scott Lee Robinson of Janesville, Wisconsin, to be personal representative of this Will.
I nominate and appoint A. Henry Hempe, of Hempe and Hunsader, S.C., 13 North Main Street, Janesville, Wisconsin, to act as attorney for my personal representative, if an attorney is necessary, and if the same is convenient for my personal representative to retain. I made this nomination entirely of my own volition. It is based on the familiarity with my personal affairs and estate possessed by Attorney A. Henry Hempe, and his representation of me in the past.
I direct no bond to be required of:
My personal representative as to the first named.
Distribution
As a special bequest I hereby give, devise and bequeath to Mary Jane McGuire, my daughter, my antique dishes.
If my son, Scott Lee Robinsin, survives me, I give, devise and bequeath one-half (1/2) of my remaining estate to him, and one-half (1/2) of my remaining estate to my surviving grandchildren born prior to my death in equal shares, share and share alike. Although I love all my children equally, I make no provision for my daughter, Mary Jane McGuire (other than the special bequest of antique dishes set forth above), and no provision for my son, Roy Arthur Robinson because both appear to be well established in their respective lives.
In the event my son, Scott Lee Robinson, predeceases me, I give, devise and bequeath my entire estate, except for the special bequest, to my surviving grandchildren born prior to my death, in equal shares, share and share alike.

My personal representative shall, in addition to powers given by law, have the following powers:
a. To retain uninvested cash as considered desireable;
b. To emply and compensate counsel and other persons and delegate authority;
c. To make distribution in money or kind;
d. To compromise claims by or against the estate;
