Erma A. Johnson JANESVILLE--Erma A. Johnson, age 83, of 1319 Purvis Ave., died early this morning at Mercy Hospital. She was born at Eagle Corner, WI on Aug. 17, 1904, the daughter of Isaac and Florence Fazel Hardy. She married Chester Starks in 1923; he died in Feb. 1954. She then married Arthur F. Johnson Nove. 22, 1956 in Janesville; he died Jan. 3, 1984. She has lived in Janesville since 1923. She was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, the church Senior Citizens and Womens Group #3.
She is survived by 2 sons: George Starks and Clarence Starks, both of Janesville; 4 daughters: Mrs. Della Schmidt, Mrs. Doris (Robert) Robinson, and Mrs. Eva (Phillip) Pernot all of Janesville, and Mrs. Alma (Gene) Anderson of San Bernadino, CA; 28 grandchildren; 37 great grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at St. Peter's Lutheran Church on Mon., Jan. 4 at 2:00p.m. with Rev. Karl Engstrom officiating. Friends may call at the Cross and Crown Room at St. Peter's Church on Sun. evening from 6:00 until 8:00p.m. Burial will be in the Oakhill Cemetery. Memorials may be given to St. Peter's Lutheran Church. Arrangements were handled by Henning Funeral Home.

Last Will and Testament of Erma A. Johnson
I, Erma A. Johnson, a resident of the city of Janesville, Rock County, Wisconsin, do hereby make, publish and declare this to be my last will and testament, and hereby revoke all former wills and codicils by me made.
ONE - I direct my personal representative to pay all my just debts, funeral expenses and the expenses of administration of my estate as soon as conveniently may be.
TWO - I hereby give and bequeath One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00) to St. Peter's Lutheran Church, of Janesville, Wisconsin.
THREE - I hereby give and bequeath Three Thousand Dollars ($3,000.00) to my daughter Eva Pernot.
FOUR - In event any grandchild of mine shall owe me money at the time of my death, I hereby cancel such debts.
FIVE - All the rest, residue and remainder of my estate I hereby give, devise and bequeath equally to my six children, namely, Della Schmidt, George Starks, Clarence Starks, Doris Robinson, Alma Anderson and Eva Pernot, to share and share alike.
SIX - I hereby nominate and appoint my daughter Eva Pernot of Janesville, Wisconsin, as personal representative of this my last will and testament, and I request that she serve without giving bond to the Court for the faithful performance of the fiduciary duties.
In event she declines or is unable to serve then I nominate and appoint the Bank of Wisconsin, Janesville, Wisconsin as personal representative in her place.
