  Mrs. Sylvia L. Miller, 78, died yesterday afternoon at 4 o'clock in the home at 526 East fourth, where she had lived since 1901.
  Mrs. Miller was born March 26, 1861, in Tipton, Ia. before moving to Hutchinson in 1901. She lived on a farm in Lane county. Her husband, E. B. Miller, died 42 years ago.
  Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Bertha May Suttle of the home; a son, Russell H. Miller, 328 East third; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Ella Sibley of Denver.
  Mrs. Miller was a member of First Methodist church and of Cyrus Caldron.
