a. Note:   There is some mystery as to where Isaac is from, the 1850 Putnam County, WV census shows him to
 have been born in NJ, but 1860 shows him born in NY. There is some believe that Isaac Mason was born in New Jersey in 1797 and moved to Ohio by1820. He and his wife Charlotte had their son Theodore in 1839 and moved to Putnam County, WV in about1840.
