He also served as an instructor, training soldiers to go overseas. He was a Farmer and Owner/Operator of Grayson Farm Service and Grayson Feed and Seed, Formerly served as chairman of the Mud River Water Shed and Loved to play Golf and is a member of the Second Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his Step Mother - Nina Ewing Grayson Sisters - Nina Pearl Shrull, Maxine and Phyllis his Brothers - Gordon, Leland, Luther, Lucian, John Bowden and Bobby Dale 1 Step Grandchild - Adam Smith and is survived by:
  Wife of 63 years - Thelma Grayson 1 Son - Larry Grayson and Kathy of Auburn, Kentucky 2 Daughters - Alice Flener and Ted of Jeffersonville, Indiana Anna Smith of Horse Cave, Kentucky 3 Brothers - Harold Grayson of Butler County, Kentucky Maurice Grayson of Hopkinsville, Kentucky Wayne Grayson of Huntsville, Kentucky 1 Brother in Law - Glen Tinsley 3 Grandchildren, 3 Step Grandchildren and 3 Step Great Grandchildren
  Funeral Services for Neal Grayson will be conducted Friday December 9, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. in the Young Funeral Home Russellville Chapel with Bro. Tom Lawhon, Bro. Ron Wells and Bro. Steve Smith officiating and burial to follow in the Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation will begin Thursday from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and Friday after 8:00 A.M.
  The family asks that donations be made to the Alzheimer Association or to the Church of your Choice in memory of Neal. Envelopes will be available at the Funeral Home.
