  The Barron children are likely Mary Barron Powers brother and sister. Alvin Barron and his wife. Alvin died in 1849 in an epidemic in OH. They are buried in the Nugent Farm Cemetery near Amity, OH. Mary and Thomas migrated to Iowa in early 1850, exact time unknown, but they were in Iowa in time for the 1850 Census.
  According to probate records in Madison county Ohio, regarding Alvin and Mary, reference is made about Thomas and Mary A. M. Barron Powers serving as guardians for Augusta and Zachari Barron (see above 1850 census data).
