Note: e of 74. She was born on August 20, 1941, to J D and Maxine (Sharp) Roberts in Artesia, New Mexico. After graduating from Texas Western College (now The University of Texas at El Paso), Rebecca started her professional career as a teacher. She married James L. Cornfoot on September 11, 1965, and he preceded her in death in 2008.
Rebecca is survived by her daughter, Julie L. Anderson and husband Keith W. Anderson of Plano, Texas; son, James A. Cornfoot of Memphis, Tennessee; granddaughters, Ashley N. Anderson and Courtney P. Anderson of Plano, Texas; brother, Gary C. Roberts and wife Bobbie J. Northcutt of Breckenridge, Texas; and numerous other loving family and friends. She was also preceded by her parents.
The family will receive friends during a visitation on Wednesday evening, July 20, 2016, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas.
