Robinson Graduate of Penn State Commercial College Viola Varner Robinson, 87, of Pittsburgh, formerly of Washington, died Sunday, January 28, 1996, in her home. Born May 6, 1908, in Washington, she was the daughter of James Francis and Ella May Anderson Varner. Mrs. Robinson was a graduate of Penn State Commercial College and was a homemaker. On October 21, 1933, in Hill Church, Canonsburg, she married Travillis B. Robinson, who died February 11, 1986. Surviving are a daughter, Verna R. Brem of Pittsburgh, two grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. All services were private. 1930 Census (April 3, 1930) has ther family living at 930 West Chestnut street in Washington PA, Washington County, 2nd precinct, 8th ward. Owning their home valued at $9000. Her father , James emplyed as a retail merchant in a general store, and herself employed as a music teacher, teaching piano.
Note:   Loved to crochet. Made two granny square afghans where no two squares matched in either afghan. Taught piano and worked with TB Robinson with his consulting business Very inteligent - studie
