Uncle Ralph (her great-nephew) remembers her coming off of the train - the station was at the bottom of the hill in Carnegie and their home was at the top of the hill - she dressed like Lillian Russel (lots of plumes!) and would walk up the hill singing vaudeville songs. Her signiature song was "My Sweetheart's the Man on the Moon" written by James Thornton. Performed on the Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Columbus circuit. divorced Whitey Brem and remarried Patrick Joyce (a World War II Navy Veteran) Lived in Sheridan, Pa. Name listed on 1920 Census as "Catherine" -employed at a store as a Sales Lady Her first son with Francis died of diptheria, her second child was stillborn. She had then Gen, Ralph, David, and Richard. She also had one stillborn child with Patrick. Lived in Sheridan, Pa. according to Ralph Brem (5/11/2011) . Kathryn and Francis ran off to West Virginia to get married just like her sister Thelma and husband Vic did.
