Note: Nickname as a child was Pidge - aunt said he had skinny legs like a pigeon young and thin - called Pidge Served in the Navy during the Korean War. Was a radio man on a destroyer in the Caribbean region. Lost some hearing in one ear from wearing the radio headphones so much.
