a. Note:   Perhaps her name is Bothwell. I believe I got her surname from the back of a photograph. I will have to take a 2nd look at that. Looked up Jane Botherell, Bothel, and Bothwell at Mormons, Rootsweb, NY Genweb (Cayuga Co), and HeritageQuest. The only thing I found was some census data, one of which showed she was born in NY. Posted Genforum 9/2006.
  Got a response via Genforum. See: http://www.bothwell.cx/wc03/wc03_450.htm. He gave me sources and I found a few more, but nothing making the link that Alexander's daughter Jane was my Jane.
 2014: Ancestry.com indicates that Alexander Bothwell 1773's daughter Jane's dates were 1805-1876, different spouse. So no.
  No people named Both* buried in the cemetery where she is.
