a. Note:   He is recorded in Farmington in 1771 and of record in the Bristol Congregational Church.
  5 Dec 1774, and Dec. 4, 1775 as Collector, and again Dec. 5, 1785 as School Com. and Collector. No record of children found and no will located.
  On pg. 82 CONNECTICUT MEN OF THE REVOLUTION is the record of service by Johnathan Lindsay in the 6th Co. 7th Reg. July 8-18, 1775.
  And on pg. 502 Jonathan Linsley in 1777, Mar. 30 - May 16th in Captain Stoddard's Co. Col. Hookers Reg.
  These two may not be the same man, but the last one appears to the writer to be Jonathan of this sketch.
