  Mrs. Anna Nohavec, resident of the Crete vicinity for more than sixty years, died at her home in Crete, Tuesday. She was 94 years old.
  Born Anna Bruz in Netese, Czechoslovakia, July 19, 1855, she came to the United States when she was 20 years old.
  In 1878, she was married to Mike Nohavec. They settled on a farm near Crete. Mrs. Nohavec was the mother of nine children, eight of whom are still living.
  Following the death of her husband, Mrs. Nohavec had resided in Crete with her youngest daughter, Mrs. Ray Beggs. She had been ill for several months prior to her death. Mrs. Nohavec was a charter member of the J. C. D.
  She is survived by her children, her two sons, Joe and Charles, and six daughters, Mrs. Mary Andelt, Mrs. Emma Marcelino, Mrs. Alice Kucera, Mrs. Louise Husa, Mrs. Albie Maca, and Mrs. Lillie Beggs.
  Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at the Kuncl Funeral Home with Reverend K. O. Zavadil officiating. Burial will be in Crete Riverside Cemetery.
