  Funeral services were held Tuesday, February 4th, for Mrs. Josephine Marcelino at Sacred Heart Church at 9:30 am, with Rev. John F. Ekeler officiating. Burial was in Crete Riverside Cemetery.
  Mrs. Josephing R. Marcelino, nee Prochaska, was born March 20 1878, at Crete and died on February 2, 1947, at Crete at the home of her son-in-lay and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Hejl.
  She was united in marriage to Frank J. Marcelino on Feb. 26, 1900. To this union were born seven children - Gertrude Valenta and Helen Hejl of Crete, Robert of Omaha, Iola Nohavec of Crete, Marie Mariska and Pauline Kolarik of Hastings. Another daughter died in infancy.
  Since her marriage, she lived with her family on a farm 1 1/2 miles north of Crete until 1936. She then moved with her husband to a farm fourteen miles west of Crete and lived there until the time of his death in 1938. Since then, she has been making her home with her children and also in Colorado Springs because of her health.
  Sirvovprs are he six children, eleven grandchildren and the following sisters: Mary Pecinka, Minnie Kacer and Rose Hayden of Pasadena, California; Ema Prochaska of Crete, and Lillian Jelinek of Table Rock. One sister and two brothers preceded her in death.
