The census record does not specify whether East or West Gage Avenue, but it was West Gage. Residence in 1935 was listed as Conway Springs, Kansas. From 1930 to 1936, Helen spent some summers with her aunt and uncle, Emma and Olaf Bengtson, who lived near Hillsdale, Oklahoma. Usually the Bengtsons went for vacation to Manitou, Colorado during the summer, and took Helen with them. She was President of the La Providencia Guild of Burbank, California, in 1966 and 1967.
