a. Note:   N3050 “Lewis of Warner Hall” states Mary Jane Buckner married, first, David Anderson, son of Edmund Anderson and Jane Meriwether Lewis. This would make David her uncle (pp. 693 & 695), so this marriage seems unlikely. Other genealogies simply state that David Anderson married a Mary Buckner, and that Mary Jane Buckner married, first, a David Anderson, but did not identify the parents of either spouse, so no relationship is indicated.
  Update: The Buckner researcher has identified the parents of Mary Buckner, wife of David Anderson, as Benjamin Hawes Buckner and Elizabeth Gatewood.
