a. Note:   N3057 Buckner researchers claim Robert was not born 13 Jul 1824 as shown by STLA and supported by the 1850 Census, but was not born until at least 1826. He married Willie Abbot, but is not the Robert M. Buckner, town marshall, married to William J. ____ in the 1860 Census in Paris, Bourbon, KY. Instead, Robeert has not been found in the 1860 Census. He enlisted in the CSA and was killed or died during the war and is buried at a location known only to close relatives. Buckner researchers also claim the date of death is incorrect or at least unsupported.
