Notes
a. Note:   Richard T,. Barker was born in Toledo, Ohio on March 22, 1945 to parents Richard and Rena Barker. He was a big brother to his sister Sue-Ann. He served as a medic in the U.S. Army while stationed in Germany. After his service he went on to work as an iron worker in Ohio as well as in Los Angeles. In 1984 he met Lidia and her kids Michael and Jacqueline and in 1987, Richard and Lidia wed. His love for animals was evident to everyone. Dogs were his favorites, although at one point he had cats, a rat, a crow, and a pigeon. He would often feed the raccoons that would come into the backyard. His hobbies included working out and flexing his muscles and calves when he would come home from the gym, collecting guns, riding motorcycles, along with collecting Coca Cola memorabilia. He was funny and kept us entertained with his silly magic tricks.
He will be dearly missed and is survived by his wife Lidia, son Michael, daughter Jacqueline, son in law Jerry, daughter in law Nenetzin, grandkids Noah, Diego, Alexa, and Natalie. Sister Sue-Ann, nephews Jerry and Jeff and niece Karen.
Arrangements entrusted to the care of Akes Family Funeral Home, Riverside, California.
